What a pleasant surprise to find your website! My guitarist roommate and I were quite ovewhelmed when we saw you back in 1969 at Rhode Island School of Design, when you played in the cafeteria with the Spencer Davis Group. That summer, we happened to see you again at the Troubadour in L.A., and all we could do is shake our heads in disbelief! So glad to have finally found a place to order your albums from now!

Hello Ray Surprise Surprise eh? I was having a look on the Net and typed in your name to see what you were doing these days. I found your website and Alan (you may remember my other half 27 years on) told me to email you. I was thinking only the other day of the time we went to see the Beatles together - I was about 13/14 so you must have been about 16 or so. Alan and I live in Kent now, near Rochester and have our own small printing business (as you might already have guessed from the email address). My dad's still alive and kicking and betting on the horses - he's 86 now and I reckon he's going to go on forever! I'm still in touch with Aunt Nell - did you know Arthur Fenwick died a few months back? Also Aunt Edie. I'm sure you've got your own news so perhaps you'd like to email me back sometime. Hope to hear from you soon, Best wishes and Regards Vivien Taylor

Hi, I am a 22 year old man from Belgium who has played the guitar for 12 years. Last year after a bad carcrash, i lost my left arm. I am looking for a motivated synth-guitar developper or builder who can help me with my problem. I thought about a combination of my right hand, a set of pedals and some voice technology to help me a big step back to the old days. Can you help me or do you know anyone who can help me. The price of the guitar is no problem. When you're a guitarplayer yourself, you'll know what I mean by that.........imagine you'd be abruptly torn away from your favourite instrument, your best friend. thanks in advance, Tom Deseyn ps: please mail all reply to tdeseyn@hotmail.com (i'll be gratefull)

Hi Ray, Wow ! What an amazing co-incidence. You may remeber me from your "rock School" class at Boston College (1996). I was looking for a friend's web page and accidentally misspelled his name Davies instead of Davis. Yahoo brought up this site near the top of the list. So purely by accident I come across the site of a person who himself has given me tuition. Considering the tens of thousands of sites the search produced I'm sure that you will share my amazement at bumping into someone I know! I saw the article in the Lincs Free Press/Spalding Guardian at Xmas, and along with this site I was quite suprised at the extent of your work. Many a guitarist would be proud to have played sessions like those mentioned. I'm at University now in Manchester but when I'm next home I'll come along to see you if you are still playing with Lloyd and the boys. See you soon Ray Ady Young

Like Tommy I loved the Forcefield albums with Graham. Having sung along with his records since I was a kid I'm now a professional singer and guess who I tend to sound like! Will you be working with him again and do you know where he is and what he's up to now? If you do tell him he's got a lot to answer for (and has he ever considered a duet - Duelling banshees maybe!?) Cheers, Sean.

Ray, Thanks so very much for your Christmas card, and I hope you have a great New Year as well! If you would like to get in touch, please fax Louis Rentrop at 031 10 - 4360007 (You know Louis, you two have met at Paperlate last year!) - he will then e-mail the contents of your fax to me. I don't have a fax machine at the moment. All the best for now! Alex.
