Just had to say what a fantastic night I had at "The Ship" in Boston last night. Tony (my brother-in-law)told me what brilliant guitarists you and Dale are - and that was an understatement.I knew from the first song that we were in for a great night's entertainement - and you certianly entertained us - a great pity that we had to leave early!! I haven't been a "Blues" fan before but after listening to you all last night I'm looking forward to your next gig!!
You cetainly impressed my son (learning to play guitar himself) you may (or may not) have noticed him sitting just to the side on your right - hopefully it will spur him to play great songs himself -I hope so anyway it's costing me a fortune!!

Hope you are keeping fit and well,just thought I would thank you for your involvement with the Angel Air CD-Maggie Bell Live at The Rainbow 74. Bought it recently and can't stop playing it. Think I have fell in love with Maggie. Ray, can't you get her over here, you on guitar,Mo Foster bass and Gilson Lavis drums-what a gig that would be!!??. Seriously, lets give the area a kick up the arse, South Holland centre watch out.

Ray I certainly agree about the Yamaha SG700s. I played one yesterday and to my ears it sounded like a good Les Paul, fat with lots of harmonics and definition. I have a few strats and an es335 but I must have a sg700s now!

My guitarist roommate and I were quite ovewhelmed when we saw you back in 1969 at Rhode Island School of Design, when you played in the cafeteria with the Spencer Davis Group.
